Laymen League Men’s Fellowship: Monday nights in the HOJ. Contact Deacons Sherman Moody or Ronald Jackson for more details.
Young Adult Missionary: sponsoring a Christmas Bike Drive. We are challenging the other ministries and church members to purchase at least one bike that will be given to a child in need on Christmas Eve. We are asking for all bikes by Dec. 15th. See Latia Watson. Your support will be greatly appreciated.
Vision Keepers Advisory Council: Meeting Tuesday, Oct. 7/6pm/HOJ
Our Helping Hands Ministry is currently collecting hams, turkeys and can goods. We will serve Thanksgiving dinner to the public on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Meals will also be prepared and delivered to sick and shut-in residents. Collection bins and fliers with more information have been placed in the vestibule. Please help us share the goodness of the Lord with others this Thanksgiving.
Inspirational Choir will travel to Mill Creek Missionary Baptist church in Mullins on Thursday, October 2nd to sing for their annual revival. The van will leave at 6:15. John B. Claiborne is the pastor.
New Karate School starting at the Fairmont Fire hall on Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm. The instructor is James Jones. This will be the first day of registration. Flyers in the vestibule for any youth who are interested.
